Your Role

As the business grows, we are looking for Quality Engineers for the quality department in production, focusing on product in a new project within AT4. Here you will have the opportunity to contribute with expertise in quality standards and communicate the requirements and expectations placed on us as a defense industry. In the role of quality engineer, you will coordinate, recommend, control, and plan quality assurance activities to be carried out in production. In this role, you will support and drive quality issues in various forums, which entails a responsibility to contribute to a continuous improvement culture where the customer is always at the center.

Your main tasks will include:

Leading and coordinating quality and improvement work in production
Planning and executing FMEA and control plans
Ensuring product quality and being responsible for quality assurance activities and methods
Driving investigations according to 8D in case of deviations, defining corrective actions and follow-up
Participating in quality audits (product and process)

To succeed in this role, you should have a good ability to take responsibility for your work independently and your working style should be characterized by a constant awareness of quality. You find it easy to communicate information, as the role requires you to convincingly explain quality risks to others within the organization.

To succeed in this role, you should have

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience in quality
Two years of experience in the quality field
Good communication skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
Driving license B

It is meritorious if you have

Knowledge of quality systems and quality standards
Experience working with areas such as Lean, root cause analysis, and FMEA
Knowledge and/or experience in electronics

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
